Pick one, or a few, and GO for it...

Drive until you find a cool view. Pull over and have a cookout.

 

How good of a gourmet meal can you cook over an open fire?

 

Drive to a field. Play football or soccer. Is there anyone else there to play with you?

 

Drive to a beach. Play horseshoes in the sand by the water.

 

Bring a tennis ball or two. Go ice-skating.

 

Split into teams of 2. Bake pies. Whose is better?

 

Find an open space somewhere in a town. Play a game of something. How many random people can you get to join your game?

 

Find a field, gather supplies, make a kite and fly it.

 

Go clamming.

 

Go see the sun rise or set by a body of water.

 

If it's raining, go build a shelter and stay dry.

 

Go apple picking. Bake something with apples.

 

Find a field, bring some tennis balls, see how far you can hit a ball with a homemade bat.

 

Split up into groups of 2. Each group gets $25. Go find someone who really needs it. Give it to them.

 

Need to workout? Drive to a camp ground. Design an eco workout or eco competition. Do it.

 

Find a trail. Hike until you are tired. Have lunch, hang out, and hike back.

 

Get on the road. Go camping without bringing your own firewood.

 

Find a campground to build a fire. Eat s’mores.

 

Drive to a state park or national park with high hills or mountains. Pick a high point in the distance. Get to the top.

 

Drive to a clean still water lake. Build at least two homemade rafts from hardware store supplies. Play battleship with tennis balls.

 

Walk the beach, see what you find.

 

Visit a historic site.

 

Pick a town or city. Taste test until you find the best local pizza.
